On the 5th Saturday we’ll film a Duologue Show Reel Scene together in a London Studio/Location (2 hour slots.)
PLUS 5 Tuesday evening 90 minute Social & Business sessions, via Zoom, 90 mins to discuss industry related matters, anything and everything to improve your craft and work chances!
PLUS Show Reel sent out to 400+ Agents and 200+ Casting Directors!
PLUS, weekly Self Tape exercise with feedback.
You will also have self-taped a Monologue Scene which will be added to the Duologue Scenes.
The whole Show Reel will then be sent out to 400+ Agents and 200+ Casting Directors on your behalf and you’ll receive the Scenes back for your Social Media.

THE CLASS
4 Saturdays (all day) and on the final Saturday: 2.5 hour Show Reel Filming Session
6 hours per day (10.30am – 5.30pm, one hour lunch)
plus 5 Mid-Week Tuesday 90 minute sessions with weekly SELF-TAPE exercise
plus Duologue & Monologue Show Reel

THE PROGRAMME
Week 1 Saturday 30th SEPTEMBER – Ariella Eshed: Ariella is an Israeli director and tutor residing in London. Ariella has extensive experience as director and has worked at Lyric Hammersmith, Soho Theatre, Hampstead Theatre, King’s Head, and the Union Theatre, to name but a few. In 2005 she set up her own theatre company ‘Tik-sho-ret’, Hebrew for ‘Communication’.
In this class we’ll work on ‘Michael Chekhov techniques’ and focus on Archetypes, Tensions and, if time, Elements. Excellent for ‘building a character’. (prepared monologue scripts.)

Week 2 Saturday 7th OCTOBER – Daniel Dresner: Daniel has a strong, no-nonsense approach to acting on screen and as well as being an accomplished actor/tutor/director is also now a ‘life coach’ helping actors develop within our overcrowded industry. www.danieldresner.com
We’ll work on pre-learnt scripts and really get behind the actors’ and the characters’ thought process. Detailed work so please learn the scripts.

Week 3 Saturday 14th OCTOBER – Christie Peto: Christie is a graduate of Drama Studio London and works regularly with Dothinkdo, a leading actor development company. Her self-penned solo show ’Three’ is playing on the London Fringe Circuit. You’ll work with some fascinating Improv tools, make fresh, daring character choices and push your boundaries – an exciting and energising class, not for the nervous! You’ll be cast with a different scene partner each week.

Week 4 Saturday 21st OCTOBER – Sarah Preston: Sarah is an actor/writer and producer and has worked extensively in BritishTV Dramas. www.sarahpreston.co.uk After a vocal and physical warm up we’ll work on some character exercises and then prep the scenes to be shot for the following week’s Showreel filming.

Week 5 Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th OCTOBER– Show Reel Scene Filming – Jon Sidgwick & Sushant Nair
Jon is an actor, writer, director and Course Director of London Actors Workshop. Sushant is an actor, videographer, editor and film-maker. They will both direct and film your Show Reel Duologue Scenes in situ at a North/South London studio/real world venue and Sushant will edit them.
